Project Management
Bishop Communications, LLC worked for more than two years with the Council
of Chief State School Officers' on its National Educator Training and
Leadership Center (NET LC) project. Bishop Communications provided the
initial consulting and research services to help define the overall
requirements of the project. Bishop Communications wrote a detailed
request for proposal and subsequently served as project manager through
the creation, launch and eventual transition of the NET LC project.
Successful aspects of the NET LC project were transitioned into CCSSO's
core services. Bishop Communications helped facilitate a successful
transiton. During the course of the project, Bishop Communications coordinated
numerous vendors and software solutions providers as well as ensured
sustainability through staff development.
On another project for CCSSO, Bishop Communications serves as project
manager for the coordination of the Secondary School Redesign project,
which includes the development of an online portal for information on
high school redesign and improvement. Bishop Communications facilitated
the overall development of the portal, continues to connect various
other aspects of the project and is working on ensuring sustainability
of the project through staffing proposals and development.
